On Friday 25th September, we hosted a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Not only because we’re proud to name Macmillan as one of our charity partners, but also because we love cakes.
Baking cakes. Talking about cakes. Watching cakes being made and talked about on TV. But most importantly, eating them!
We asked the good folk of Leroy House (in Islington, London – where our Head Office is based) to help join in the fun. We’re delighted to reveal that everyone’s generosity and cake-baking efforts raised an incredible sum of money.
Here’s a couple of pictures from our coffee morning:
Thanks to the following people from Leroy House who took the time to bake a cake for the coffee morning:
Rosalba from Drasci Studio
Angela from Genetic Alliance
Amit from Arlington Estates
Florin from ExecutiveSurf
Lenka from Workspace Group at Leroy House
Charlotte from Offside Sports Photography
Tuba from Oncu Accountancy
Dawn, Michael, Katarzyna and Paul from here at Clothes Aid
We also ran a competition to see who was the “star baker” within Leroy House – and the two cakes with the most votes were baked by our very own Katarzyna (left) and Lenka (right), who is the office manager at Leroy House – congratulations!
