Ends of Lines Manager                                    Contract: Full time permanent

Location: London

Salary: C£40K + basic with OTE /Bonus /Pension

[Expected earnings in excess of £60k pa]

Clothes Aid collect unwanted household items from our national door to door charity collections. When sold on, we are able to donate substantial amounts of the proceeds to our Charity partners. The more we can collect the more financial support we can give offer.

We are embarking on an exciting product expansion initiative. We need an experienced professional with buying experience, who is able to source a range of quality ends of lines, shop returns and surplus stock etc., to help us meet the growing demand from a diverse range of customers.

Working alongside an experienced sales team, and our existing charity donors and retail contacts, you will manage every aspect of donated and purchased ends of line stock. The role entails sourcing goods from both charity contracts as well as purchasing stock from non- charity retail organisations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced buyer, or professional with similar proven transferable experience, knowledge and skills, who enjoys a challenge.

You will have:

  • Recent proven experience of sourcing and buying a range of fashion clothing and household items or similar products
  • Experience and evidence of working and contracting with range of suppliers
  • A track record of successfully negotiating the best terms, measuring quantityand quality alongside delivery conditions – all at the most competitive prices
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, communication & influencing skills
  • Have a strong sourcing strategy and proven track record in delivering and improving margin requirements.
  • A focused and systematic approach to planning, organising and deadline management
  • Excellent logistical and organisational skills and methods
  • A *CIPS qualification or equivalent would be an advantage
  • We are interested in hearing from buyers with high street retail chain fashion/homeware experience.
