You may be asking yourself, “what can I donate?” - well, you’re not alone! In fact, as it’s one of our most frequently asked questions, we decided to give it its own page.
Clothes:
In terms of clothes, we love to see high street and designer women’s, men’s, babies and children’s clothing, outerwear, underwear, pairs of shoes (tied together), accessories including hats, belts and bags. These items, in good, wearable condition, mean we can achieve a premium resale price for our partner charities. Besides clothing, we also collect the following items of household goods and bric-a-brac:
Small Bric-a brac:
- Sports equipment
- Jewellery
- Ornaments and trinkets
- Children’s toys and games
- Paired curtains
- Duvet covers and pillow cases
- Mobile phones and tablets
- Books
- CDs and DVDs
- Pots and pans

Large bric-a brac:
anything that cannot fit into carton boxes:
- big toys,
- gardening tools,
- big vases,
- vacuum cleaners,
- prams,
- baby walkers,
- kids bikes
- car seats
- sport equipment.
- Large electricals like TVs or monitors, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners (any electronic items must be in working condition)
What can't I donate?
We only handle quality textiles, accessories and household bric-a-brac. Unfortunately, we don’t deal in textile rag resale so we are unable to collect damaged, ripped or broken items, as well as carpets, furniture and soft toys. We also cannot take school or work uniforms with emblems or logos. Some examples of items we do not collect include:
- Beds (of any size)
- Christmas trees
- Mattresses
- Used duvets or pillows
- Hazardous liquids
- Taxidermy
- VHS tapes
