Recycle unloved clothes and make cash for your school or charity.
Shazam! Your clothes fly off to a whole new life. In return, you get bags of cash for your school or favourite charity.
We pay £600 for every tonne of clothes – that’s around £3 a bag, for 200 full bags. Your school can keep all of the money raised, or share it with one of our charity partners. It’s completely up to you. We weigh the items you collect, then send your school a cheque or arrange a bank transfer.
To take part, simply choose a day that suits your school for a clothes collection and get in touch. We’ll send you posters, a letter pupils take home to their families and Clothes Aid collection bags. Your pupils will also receive a special thank-you certificate after the collection.
From wearing to caring
Clothes Aid offers your school the chance to help good causes. But pupils also learn about the environmental impact of clothes, the importance of active citizenship and the advantages of recycling.
Thanks to you, we can give unwanted clothes a second chance - reducing damage to the environment and helping the causes you care about.
