Aug 2011: Clothes Aid launches its Charity Champions network

Impulse buys, unwanted gifts, wrong size, wrong colour – Clothes Aid's new Charity Champions collection scheme offers a new way to transform fashion mistakes into much-needed funds for our partner charities.

The Clothes Aid Charity Champions network is looking for people to help us recover the nation's unloved clothes so we can raise more money for charity.

We need individuals to collect a few large bags of good quality clothes, shoes and accessories from their friends, families and colleagues a few times a year. Or perhaps your community group, church or small business could get involved.

Volunteering as a Charity Champion is a great way to do something extra for charity, without giving up too much time.

If you'd like to get involved, sign up on this website or give us a call on 0845 072 2780.

Currently this project is operating in London, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire with the NSPCC, Papworth Hospital Charity and Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.
